Sungai Suci

About 30 minutes north of Bengkulu city is some amazing coast line. if you didn’t slow down and take the time to explore you would never know that it existed. I’ve been craving to head out to this coastal area for some time and waiting for the right kind of weather. Those days are finally here with the rain easing to a point where it doesn’t rain every day now. On this afternoon I wasn’t sure of it was going to eventuate into a nice sunset. The previous day it had and I was kicking myself for not heading out and taking some shots. So on the hope that a nice sunset would eventuate I headed out and took a chance. I arrived at sungai suci and found a nice rock outcrop to perch on with the perfect view of the sunset and the gorgeous rocky coast line. As the sun started to set I could see that it was going to turn out just fine with the right amount of cloud cover in the right places for a dramatic red sunset. I snapped off a series of HDR shots and I think I managed to chose and edit the right one. Hope you like.
