005 - Bona at the very young age of 1 year, still very malnourished due to being orphaned under terrible circumstances. Her attachment to Aswita (her surrogate Mother) shows here as Aswita crosses the bulging flood waters of the local river and Bona cannot follow due to her size, lack of strength and not yet being able to swim. Her cries from the river bank could be heard for miles.
