Port Arthur – Day Three

The clouds rolled in today and ruined any plans for a sunrise photo shoot. So I decided to take the morning and go for a cruise along the coast line. This resulted in one of… no… the best experience I have ever had on a boat cruise. While cruising under the majestic cliffs of the Tasmanian coast line, we encountered countless wildlife, from Humpbacks, Seals and Albatross it was wall to wall wildlife and like nothing I have ever experienced. Whales breaching and feeding next to the boat was a highlight.

After the cruise I ventured back into the historic site to catch a sunset as the clouds had lifted and the sky was clear again. I hope you liked my photos from my last day in Port Arthur. Back on the road to Hobart tomorrow and flying home in the evening. I might try and catch the Steve  Irwin as the Sea Shepherd are docking in Hobart tomorrow.
