Just because you have a pop up flash on top of your camera doesn’t mean you should use it. If you’re shooting events or low light situations a lot and your camera has a pop up flash. Try not to fall into the temptation of using it. It’s not a natural look. Often a pop-up flash on the camera will wash out the subject removing the shadow areas altogether or creating very harsh shadows and leave you with unflattering results. Go the extra mile and purchase an off camera flash.
