Photography Tip Number 8 – The Lens Effect

When buying a “kit” I personally find it equally if not more important to consider your lens choices as strongly as you consider your camera choice. With a kit usually comes a standard lens, something like the 18-55mm. It’s a good all round lens but for those a little bit more serious I recommend buying a second lens with your kit and it all depends on your type of photography. From landscape to portrait your lens choice will be different. I do recommend a prime lens over a zoom lens as a second choice. Prime lenses are usually a faster lens with a wider aperture allowing you to get super sharp shots with bokeh effects.
Budget more on lenses and buy a lower spec camera. Seriously. You will thank me for it.
