Photography Tip Number 18 – Do More with Each Subject

When photographing a subject try and think of what else you can do with that subject. What more can I do to add value to this picture. In the case of the example below Mckenzie’s Beast I first wanted to take a HDR photo, which worked very well, but at the same time I decided to do a time-lapse of the old truck as well. In the end doing more with this truck worked out perfectly because I managed to write and publish a “how to” article for Digital Photography Magazine on HDR photography and also sold the time-lapse footage to a documentary currently being produced in Australia. It’s very beneficial to try and do more with each subject. :0)
