Daily Photo – Sumatra Roads are… the Best?

Sumatra’s geographic location means it gets a lot of rain, and also Sumatra’s economic position means there are a lot of trucks transporting a lot of stuff, inside and outside Indonesia. The problem is not much of that economic gain gets back to where it’s needed, you can read between those lines. But here is a perfect example. The trucks degrade the roads and the roads don’t get the attention they need, mix in a decent amount of rain and this is the result. I saw two trucks tipped over within 1km of each other.
