Daily Photo – A Humble Abode

The simple things in life are all that matters when on the road. A simple room and a simple bed can be that of a luxury depending on the journey. This is my humble abode when visiting Seblat, the home of Bona. The generator comes on at about 6pm and usually is turned off when the football finishes and that could be 10pm or 2am depending on the time of year. It’s a great little hut with a simple Indonesian toilet and bucket shower filled with cold mountain water after a hot Sumatran day. It does the trick and the bed is actually quite comfortable.
