Daily Photo – Borobudur Fire in the Sky

In Indonesian, ancient temples are referred to as candi; thus locals refer to “Borobudur Temple” as Candi Borobudur. The setting sun lights up behind the Borobudur temple as the last of the daylight looks for attention from any visitors still remaining within the grounds. The security guards posted on the outer doors make sure no new visitors enter as the gates close and make sure the last visitors leave before calling it a night. Borobudur is the worlds largest Buddhist temple and is a sight worth seeing under the fiery setting sun.
