Like most of you I have been waiting for the august 24 press release from Nikon. Well that has come and gone and there was a lot of hoopla and not a lot of bang.

A sequence of a Humpback Whale breaching off the southern coast of Tasmania. I was crouched ready to shoot at any second for about 30 minutes. This is the first of two sequences I captured on the day.
This rescue is part of the Australia Zoo TV initiative. This was one of the scariest rescues I have had to document so far, right along side the Bull-shark rescue. This Red-bellied Black snake was entangled in bird netting and was pretty angry and willing to bite anything including himself. Here Toby and Kado have the tube on the snake so they can safely remove the bird netting. This rescue will be aired on www.australiazoo.tv in the coming months so keep an eye out for it to see the end result. Photo Tools Used Nikon D90 12.3 million Effective pixels […]
So far things with my Niche site are working out quite well. Unfortunately though time has been a killer and I have not had nearly enough time to spend on developing the content. So as Pat and Tyrone say, this is a […]
I have recently started a new hobby with the purchase of a Nikon D90 SLR Digital Camera. I have to say I have set myself a steep learning curve for my first DSLR. This camera is amazig and everywhere I take it, it never fails to perform. I have not done a lot with the Dmovie so far but that is to come. At present I only have the 18-55 and 55-200 lenses and look forward to moving into macro photography soon with a lens upgrade. I hope you enjoy some of the sample shots I have uploaded below.
